Edema Rehab is part of the Oncology Rehab group and focuses on lower-body swelling conditions resulting from a variety of reasons including lymphedema, venous insufficiency, surgery or cancer treatments.
With two locations (sharing Oncology Rehab's suite in the Denver Tech Center and practicing out of Denver Vein in Engelwood) Edema Rehab is one of the few lymphedema and edema clinics to specialize in leg swelling. The clinic was founded because, although there are around 3 million lymphedema patients in the USA, there is still a major lack of medical knowledge and expertise and some people are still told 'there is nothing that can be done to help'. As a result patients are often left without the treatment options they need.
Edema Rehab's clinicians have a huge amount of experience in providing leading-edge treatment for patients with leg swelling resulting from primary or secondary lymphedema, morbid obesity, chronic venous insufficiency, stubborn post-surgical swelling and dependent edema. By reducing leg swelling, they can also effectively improve the healing process for leg ulcers and wounds. The therapy they provide helps with the full range of conditions resulting from edema - pain, stiffness, loss of function, scar tissue & fibrosis, recurrent skin infections, weakness, fatigue, restricted range of motion and difficulties with reintegration back to work life, home life and recreational activities.
